Sleep and the activity of the autonomic nervous system (ANS) are known to be good indicators of recovery. Nightly Recharge combines information about both of these aspects in order to help you understand your recovery and make better choices during your day.
How Nightly Recharge works
Your Nightly Recharge status is based on two components: how you slept (Sleep Charge) and how well your autonomic nervous system (ANS) calmed down during the early hours of your sleep (ANS Charge). Your sports watch automatically measures them during the night.
Your ANS Charge and Sleep Charge are compared to your usual levels from the past 28 days to evaluate your nightly recharge status. You can see your Nightly Recharge status on your watch and on Polar Flow.
